MALK is a eight-year old company selling organic milk alternatives at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Publix, Natural Grocers, Erewhon and thousands of other stores across America.

Our mission is to ignite and support your personal wellness and lifestyle journey by creating and sharing healthy choices that taste great. We believe that one of the keys to a healthy lifestyle is clean ingredient products, and those that taste great are most likely to be adopted into a routine.

We’re glad you noticed! We wanted the label to represent our brand and products: clean, simple, natural and certified organic. With this change, we also aimed to make it easier to identify which MALK product you are purchasing. Now, you will see Almond MALK and Oat MALK more clearly highlighted on a cleaner background. And the flavor descriptor (Unsweetened/Original, Vanilla, Chocolate) is more distinguishable.

Yes, our bottle is made from 100% recyclable plastic and we encourage you to recycle it. However, our label is not currently recyclable so we indicate on our label where you can tear off the sleeve and dispose of that separately.

First and foremost, we add no preservatives to any of our products. We have always manufactured our Oat MALK with the ESL (Extended Shelf Life) process, like most milk alternatives in the industry. We recently shifted our Almond MALK production from HPP (high pressure processing) to ESL to reduce waste and ensure quality control. The bottling process has no effect on the nutritional value or the flavor profile of the product, yet it ensures that MALK will last longer in the fridge.

In late 2021, we reformulated our vanilla flavored MALK products to deliver a more robust vanilla flavor. We heard from many of you – loud and clear – you do not want more flavor at the expense of the clean, transparent ingredients you expect and love from MALK.

After doing the due diligence, we removed “organic natural flavors” from our products. Now, our Vanilla products simply contain “Pure Organic Vanilla Extract made from Vanilla Beans”.

We promise to continue to use minimal amounts of simple, high-quality ingredients that are plainly stated and easy to understand. We strive to make great products because we believe you are worth it. We sincerely appreciated your feedback, your patience, and your continued support.

No, we are not using sprouted almonds or oats because we realized how wasteful the production process was. While we understand the health benefits of sprouted almonds and oats, we are committed to making the process as eco-conscious as possible while still using high-quality, glyphosate-free organic ingredients in all our MALK products.
